Senior User Experience Lead
As OHO’s Senior User Experience Lead, I worked with a variety of institutions to strengthen their web presence and overall site usability. My role encompassed the full design process from early stakeholder interviews, wire frame creation, user testing as well as helping implement a working site with front and back end developers.
BEAM Interactive, 2014-2015
User Experience Designer
As BEAM’s Information Architect / UX designer I took on a variety of roles, from creating user flows, conducting user testing on both current and prototype websites while offering feedback on how to better improve the user experience and overall usability. While at BEAM I worked on projects in a variety of industries, from the automotive industry (MINI USA) to several large fortune 500 financial institutions.
Design that Matters, 2010-2014
Initially joined Design that Matters (DtM) for a one year internship to further develop the Firefly phototherapy device, which I helped conceive as a member of a nine person team in a joint MIT and RISD course. Continued to develop Firefly during the internship which evolved into a full time salary position, becoming the third employee in the organization. Due to the nature of the small organization I was able to be a part of crafting the organizational strategy, from helping to secure project partners to help write and layout grant proposals.
Archimed Laboratories, 2009
Designed and managed development of a innovative CPAP mask. Managed Design, 3D scanning, Rapid prototyping, material selection and sourcing.
LIT Motors, 2008-2009
Managed multi-disciplinary a team of 10 individuals from Babson, Olin, Brown, RISD, and MIT to develop a two wheeled vehicle with a gyroscopic flywheel. Team has continued development into a fully marketable design, and is in the process of beginning production.
